The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is provided through ComPsych at no cost to you and your immediate family members on a self-referral basis (some charges may apply for services beyond the Brown & Brown contractual services).
The EAP provides confidential services offering assistance for life, work and family concerns and assists you in locating referrals to resources for providers in your community. Consultations with an EAP provider are included within the limits of the program for help with the following and more:

Crisis Support - Abuse, Addiction, Suicide Prevention, and More
Abuse: Abuse is a pattern of behavior used to gain and maintain power and control, and it can come in many forms. Explore the centers below to learn a few of the common ways abuse can occur so you can better identify them. Even one or two of these in any relationship is a red flag that abuse may be present. Addiction: Addiction occurs when you develop a physical or psychological “need” for a substance. You are unable to control your use of a drug despite the negative impact it has on your life. You may not be aware that you have become dependent on a drug until you try to stop taking it. Drug withdrawal can cause uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous symptoms. Suicide Prevention: Learn what to watch for, how to listen and how to talk to someone who may be at risk of attempting suicide. Omada Overview
Omada is an online behavioral counseling program designed to help at-risk individuals combat obesity-related chronic disease. Participants in the Omada program learn how to make modest health changes that could lead to weight loss and reduced risk for type 2 diabetes and heart disease. How do I apply?
Individuals interested in the Omada program can visit omadahealth.com/bbins to take a 1-minute health screener and find out if they meet the clinical enrollment criteria to participate in the program. The risk screener asks a few questions about height, weight, and health conditions. Those who are eligible to enroll will receive an email invitation to join the Omada program.

If you are looking for support, you are not alone. Millions of people seek mental health services every year. Kaiser Permanente offers many options for members with mental, emotional, and addiction issues — as your partners in health, they help you find what works for you.
You do not need a referral for mental health services. But your personal doctor is your biggest total health advocate. If you are struggling, they can connect you with support and help you access care.

Therapists and Psychiatrists - HMSA Plans
Beyond therapy and psychiatry appointments, you may be eligible to participate in the Beacon Health Options program through HMSA.
If you have a behavioral health condition, barriers to seeking therapy can get in the way of feeling better. Your HMSA plan may be able to help with conditions like depression, anxiety, alcohol and substance use, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, and more.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
HMSA partnered with Beacon Health Options® to offer eligible members services such as:
